2. How often should I take the remedy?
Your practitioner will tell you how often to take the medicine. This can range anywhere from every 15 minutes to once a week depending on the focus of treatment.

A good rule of thumb, though, is to decrease the frequency of dosage as your symptoms improve. Unlike most conventional medicines, in homeopathy more is not better. If you have any concerns, you should always keep in contact with the practitioner.

3. What about side effects?
Homeopathy does not cause any permanent side effects.

Occasionally mild side effects can occur called an "aggravation" which can be of an old symptom or a new symptom that you have not had before. Either way it is an indication that you have had enough of the remedy and you need to stop dosing. Once you stop dosing, the symptoms will disappear within a couple of day and leave no lasting effects.

NOTE: You should always liase with your practitioner and advise them of any noticeable changes so as they can advise you accordingly.
